Below are the explanations for the video:
For more than a decade, experimental psychology has attempted to isolate the variables that differentiate consistently lucky people from unlucky ones. Is there a real statistical anomaly, or is it simply a cognitive bias?
The video above analyzes the results of the “Luck Factor Study,” conducted by Dr. Richard Wiseman with a sample of 1,200 participants. Through longitudinal research, Wiseman demonstrated that what we call “chance” actually responds to four measurable and modifiable patterns of psychological behavior.
From the “locus of control” effect to the impact of expectations on neurobiology (Pygmalion and placebo effects), we break down the empirical evidence that explains how our mental architecture alters our chances of success. It’s not magic, it’s behavioral psychology. https://thinktanklatam.org/en-que-radica-la-felicidad-del-hombre/

What is truly surprising is the extent to which the scientific view of happiness coincides with Christian teachings, which call for always having hope against all hope, getting up immediately after a setback or a serious offense against God, in which case resorting to the sacrament of confession, joy as a normal and distinctive trait of a Christian, etc. There are two kinds of evils in human life.

However, Judeo-Christian doctrine goes much further, showing that inner moral decline has much to do with remorse of conscience, which, if it does not lead to a new conversion through God’s forgiveness, effectively sinks man into a pit. And the less we ask for forgiveness, the more we sink into a darkness that prevents us from recognizing our own poverty, thus feeding back into the force of the fall. This brings with it a growing slavery, where the yoke of not wanting to get up ultimately leads to an unhappy life, even if successes have been achieved in certain aspects of life such as in one’s profession or in sports.

Faith is an inner strength that gives us support and a powerful reason to start and start again, rejecting all surrender, which would lead to an irrational fatalism that ultimately creates a gray, pessimistic, and suffering inner atmosphere that inclines us toward self-absorption. This is true both in the face of difficulties that are not due to sin and in the face of falls due to moral evil or offense against God.
The current resurgence of faith is not primarily the merit and initiative of so many millions, but a clear indication that God himself is moving people, inviting them to live in peace, fortunately. Only moral-theological science is in a position to understand and appreciate the action of divine providence with regard to the believer and society.
