Is the world on the brink of disaster?
Peter Kopa, Prague, June 1, 2025
Overview
The global scenario is currently alarming: two wars, the Chinese threat, political and economic chaos in many leading nations, and dysfunctional governments that in many countries are acting against their own people. At the same time, however, consumerism remains intact, with its travel, vacations, and a life weighed down by the fear that wars and globalist shenanigans will ultimately create problems such as food and energy shortages. Putin, deeply affected by drone and rocket attacks on his own territory, is threatening to use nuclear weapons, which in his case would immediately provoke an escalation that could destroy the biosphere and mankind.
This imminent danger of the collapse of a world that until recently we considered stable is leading many people to remember God more. We are seeing an impressive return to faith, especially in leading countries. We are seeing many conversions in China, among Jewish leaders, among non-Catholic Christians, and among many atheists and scientific authorities: the biblical scene of Balaam’s donkey is repeating itself: https://thinktanklatam.org/habla-la-burra-de-balaam/
However, in everyday life, we see that people do not want to think about what the future will bring. In some countries, the lust for power has already been unleashed: the struggle between Israel and Hamas, together with Iran and the Houthis in the Gulf of Yemen. Much blood has already been shed, with approximately one million dead in the war in Ukraine. Inciting war against Russia is a very serious crime committed by the leaders of Great Britain, Germany, and France. Poland is preparing for the worst, but without directly provoking Putin.
Why and how did we reach this existential crisis?

The big question that has always been present in history is why there have to be wars, since it would be possible for opposing sides to reach agreement through mutual concessions. Man is capable of going to the moon, but he is not capable of creating conditions for global peace and cooperation, which would allow for a very high quality of life, because until now a huge part of economic productivity has been lost to corruption, drug trafficking, arms production, and waste. The explanation for these disasters lies in the nature of the human soul, which is inclined to choose evil because it has within itself a bitter root of evil that can only be understood in the light of biblical revelation about original sin.
In the misnamed Spanish colonization, the Spanish Crown had the noble intention of extending its dominions to spread the faith, granting Spanish citizenship to the indigenous peoples. Although there were clashes, as in the case of Hernán Cortés, at no time was there any intention to kill everyone, unlike in North America, where the conquest led to the disappearance of some 56 million indigenous people, most of whom died from diseases contracted from whites against which they had no defenses.
Empires and civilizations
Except for war as legitimate defense against an unjust aggressor, in all other armed conflicts, those responsible for instigating them know that they are seriously at fault. Thus, history is marked above all by wars of conquest, which have shaped peoples and nations for some ten thousand years, always seeking to create an empire. Depending on the case, the empire may coincide with an entire civilization.
In history, nothing appears spontaneously, but there are always one or more agents driven by very different motives, among which conquest for the formation of an empire stands out. The famous book Rise and Fall of Civilizations, by Prof. Nicholas Hagger, has addressed the rise and fall of civilizations, which were always constituted by military exploits: we see how civilizations such as China, Egypt, Greece, Rome, the Aztecs and Incas, the Spanish Empire, the Holy Roman Empire, the Muslims, England, and the USA have risen and fallen in strict succession, with the latter now in decline in the face of China’s rise as the unifying force of all Asia.
But the only civilization that has lasted two thousand years is the Christian one, because its reign moves in the spiritual realm and is now in a new phase of resurgence.
But the ‘new empire’ of the materialistic ideologies of the Davos 2030 Agenda openly aims to destroy the Christian civilization that made the West great: https://thinktanklatam.org/la-familia-y-el-auge-de-occidente/.
Their ideologies seek to erase all Christian values and traditions, without using weapons, in order to then establish their new world order of ‘you shall have nothing and you shall be happy’. They attack and deny realities such as the family, the homeland, property rights, and human rights through ideologies devised in secret dens, to be used as weapons of combat. It is a new phenomenon made possible by digital technology, which replaces traditional wars of conquest with methods of homogenizing the thinking of the masses, so that they ‘freely’ come to think and want what their rulers want them to think and want. .
Today there are already many cases of this homogenizing brainwashing: for example, ‘light’ addictions such as coffee and Coca Cola. Harmful addiction ranges from violence in movies, pornography, and prejudice to drugs that kill. Then there are bad habits, vices, and so many other things that strongly predispose individuals to behave irrationally against their own good.
The threat of the digital empire

Today, it is clear that the lust for power has the following main characteristics:
1.For the first time in history, digital technology makes it possible to control and shape the thoughts of hundreds of millions of people, as in China and also in our Western world. The combatants in the West are the large economic conglomerates, where a small group of the world’s richest people control a significant part of the world through a secret organization of thousands of agents. Outwardly, they present themselves through various institutions, such as the Club of Rome in the 1970s, or the World Economic Forum with its congresses in Davos, the UN and its agencies such as the WHO. This global health organization is the one that organized the attempt to subjugate the world through a biological weapon prepared in Wuhan. https://thinktanklatam.org/la-pandemia-preparada-desde-1990/
2. The dysfunctionality of government, especially in countries already heavily penetrated by globalists, such as Spain, Germany, Great Britain, and France. Despite the fact that the people clearly express their will, whether through political voting or demonstrations in the streets, members of the government ignore them, pitting the state apparatus against the people who support them with their taxes. Germany is an extreme example, where the traditional parties refuse to recognize the new AFD (Alternative for Germany) party.
Trump and Vance have openly condemned this, demanding that political plurality and freedom of expression be respected in Europe. Thus, democracy is being used as a weapon of tyrannical attack against political parties not aligned with those controlled by the globalists. In this great battle, the globalists are losing ground on many fronts, thanks in part to Trump’s efforts to dissect the swamp of the deep state, which has its tentacles deep in the CIA, NATO, the education sector, USAID, and so many other federal and state government agencies.
3. Materialism is the mother and root of all ideologies that seek to denigrate man: Marxism, Nazism, fascism, and the factual materialism underlying Western consumerism. Then, along these lines, there is the whole string of WOKE ideologies derived from Marxism, which manifests itself in the denigration of man, as we see in the legalization of abortion, in ecological terrorism based on lies, in the attack on the family, and in the sexual education of children.
