Situation in Switzerland

Switzerland, the great model of an almost perfect country, nevertheless has a major endemic problem: the proliferation of psychopathies in young people, where the number of cases has doubled in the last ten years. Logically, this statistical reality, taking it as a sample button, can be assumed in all countries with high material prosperity. This produces a large influx of young people to psychiatrists and psychologists and at the same time causes school dropouts at all levels.

Disability insurance in the 18-24 age group has skyrocketed: in the last year it has increased by 28%. And since 1995 the increase has quadrupled. Switzerland’s medical and healthcare infrastructure is overstretched. The Swiss insurance company ‘PK Rueck’ has the data of ten thousand insured companies, with a total of 250,000 employees, which allows them to corroborate this almost endemic explosion of psychic anomalies.

Each case costs the aforementioned insurance company approximately 260,000 euros, depending on the number of years of life, until the death of the insured person. Then there are eventually the costs of reintegration. Added to this are the costs of the state disability insurance, which last year amounted to more than two billion euros, of which 75% was paid out to people under the age of 25. Thus, the total cost of both insurances exceeded ten billion euros last year. Consequently, it is now being considered to limit the payment of these insurances only from the age of thirty, with the exception of very serious cases.

Causes of the increase in psychopathies

The main cause of psychopathic illnesses is the dysfunctionality of the family, which leads to the abandonment and mistreatment of children. Man, unlike animals, is extremely vulnerable before and after birth. A bird or a reptile, when hatching, already see, move and are able to survive on their own, but mammals are less so. Since every human being has a spiritual soul that allows him to think and love, his growth absolutely needs the tenderness and love of both parents, otherwise psychic wounds may occur, which can later manifest themselves precisely in imbalances and incapacities. In this sense, divorce or inattention of the child due to the fact that both parents give priority to their professional careers is a big problem. Or it can be a negative factor the excessive travel of both, or a bad school or bad atmosphere in the same etc.. Then there is the negative impact of pornography and media violence.

The formation of a family and a home is what every man longs for by nature, which manifests itself in part in the good instinct of fatherhood and motherhood. However, this healthy inclination can be spoiled if in marriage one seeks above all sexual pleasure and having a good time together. This situation almost always leads to separation or divorce, because neither spouse is immune to the attraction of another person. And if they do not have strong moral principles, based on religious formation, one or both of them will not be able to overcome their emotions and will allow themselves to be enslaved by the yoke of their instincts and feelings, which lead so many to drift, ending in an old age full of loneliness and bitterness. https://thinktanklatam.org/funcion-de-la-religion-en-usa/

There is a certain inverse correlation between countries of maximum and minimum material prosperity, probably because modest life avoids the seduction of daily hours of screen time, the eagerness to earn more and more money, and the atmosphere of lies and deceit of the media. It should be added that people who live in the countryside or in small towns also lead a more serene and natural life, even if they are very well off economically. Many people today idealize the old days when you could leave your car parked with the ignition keys tucked under the steering wheel. I remember how in Switzerland, many years ago, the police made a bell asking people not to leave their cars unlocked and with the key in the ignition, because at that time the first car thefts had appeared.

I recall that many years ago, a member of the British government had proposed to give mothers a monthly salary of 1500 Pounds, from the public purse. He explained that their work of caring for and educating their children would then avoid the enormous cost to the state of each person unable to work and in turn create a family that would at the same time ensure a positive demographic development. The enormous immigration flows in Europe in the last twenty years would not have occurred if at least as many aborted children had been allowed to be born, the number of which today would be greater than the number of immigrants.

A World Health Organization (WHO) report indicates that mental disorders are common in all countries, but prevalence may be higher in developed countries. For example, approximately 20% of the population in high-income countries has experienced a mental disorder at some point in their lives. According to the US National Institute of Mental Health, approximately 19% of adults experienced some type of mental disorder in the past year. In European countries, the Eurobarometer has noted that mental health is a growing concern, with a significant increase in attention to problems such as anxiety and depression.
