Ever since there have been men on earth there have been massive translocations. First the tribe in search of food and safety, then the great movements of the peoples in search of better living conditions, according to the law of the strongest. Thus, for example, the Germans came to Rome, the Huns migrated to where Hungary is today, the Vikings or Scandinavians reached Russia by way of the Mediterranean, the Black Sea, and the Volga, which enabled them to go far inland, thus founding the Russian nation.
Skipping millennia, both world wars of the last century in Europe have meant the greatest migration process in history: tens of millions have left Europe, mainly to the USA, Latin America and Australia. This migratory flow has been an enormous advantage for the host countries because this human capital brought a high level of culture and education, producing in certain places real transplants from Europe, as is the case of the USA, Canada, Chile, Australia and Argentina, although in these last three countries the white race is the majority only in the big cities.
From this perspective, the migratory flow of the last few years, especially towards European countries, shows some very particular features: in the case of Syrians, they are, in principle, people fleeing from war. But many other Africans take advantage of this migratory flow, looking for better living conditions in Europe. It is striking that there are so few families and so many young men, probably due to the harshness of the attempt. First long journeys and marches in Africa, and finally a crossing of the Mediterranean in boats so bad, that one part of it is shipwrecked, costing the lives of thousands and thousands, and in the process the ‘managers’ of the ‘business’ fill their pockets.
This phenomenon, in itself, is very strange, because it happened suddenly, in an eruptive way, and it doesn’t seem to stop completely. It seems as if it was organized from a vertex of power interested in flooding Europe, to sink it, with the people who are most diametrically different from the Europeans from many points of view. In the crowd that enters there is everything, because there is no way of knowing the history of these people, who so often have no documentation under the pretext of persecution or war. We can assume that terrorists or people whose mission is to form something like a fifth enemy column in Europe are also arriving. And in all this, Islam plays an important role.
The problem of integration
In Europe, immigrants tend to form closed groups, ghettos, as can be seen in Germany (the Turks in Berlin) and England, and this isolation is opposed to integration, both in the workplace and socially and politically. In other words, highly problematic parallel societies are formed, which come to demand and want to impose their religion and customs on others, instead of adopting everything that is not opposed to their religious beliefs, which are respected in Europe.
It must therefore be understood that, in the face of this situation, the host country is rejecting certain political movements. Each terrorist attack increasingly provokes this attitude of opposition, because it is considered that those who are being helped are not grateful for the social cost they cause to the State, at a time when pension funds are having problems covering the lack of births and longevity.
Although the terrorist attacks by Islamic terrorists cast a shadow of suspicion over the fact that all Muslims are equal, it must be acknowledged that violent criminals are a small minority who take refuge in anonymity, even if after their crimes they immolate themselves in their murderous attempt. At the same time, however, there are many manifestations of Islamists living in Europe for years, who condemn the misinterpretation of the Koran on the grounds that it does not require the killing of the infidel. Unfortunately, the Koran is a very problematic text from this point of view, because what it says verbatim is in many ways unacceptable.
Ethical aspects of hostile immigration
If the immigrant does not show an open attitude, sincerely willing to learn the new language and to work as soon as possible, to earn an honest living, if he or she pretends not to respect public order and the laws of the new country – respect for women, leaving aside the Koran in matters of criminal law etc. – the State would have no moral obligation to help him or her, even to the point of forced extradition. There is no natural right that protects the immigrant from living at the expense of the society that has taken him in, if he does not make an effort to integrate and work. On the other hand, the State does have a moral obligation in momentary situations of acute emergency, when life is at stake
The best solution is repatriation, when the war or other problem has ceased. Syria in particular is a country where life was very good and only the war has turned everything upside down. In any case, the ideal would be that, prior to repatriation, the immigrants are specifically prepared to take charge of their own nation, which will logically be a long and sacrificial process. They are the ones who have to form their own institutions and make their way of life concrete in all areas. The experience of 60 years of development aid shows, time and again, the failure of any attempt to import Western institutions and ways of life. They can copy them, why not, but let them be the ones to do so, and not have elements imposed on them from outside with which they will never identify.
Migration tests the unity of the EU
In this matter, each European country has its own way of dealing with it, as it is something that touches them very sensitively. This is politically dividing the states on the inside, and also on the outside. In particular, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia have signed a joint declaration, considering the flood of immigration to be a threat to peace, security and prosperity throughout Europe. At the same time, they claim that Greece is not in a position to protect the Schengen area. Furthermore, this group of countries categorically rejects the system of quotas for the distribution of immigrants, as advocated by Germany and the EU.
In Prague, even the triumphal entry of the Islamic state into the city has been staged as a joke: a Bedouin preceded the march, mounted on a camel and behind it a procession of people disguised as Arab terrorists who ceaselessly shouted ‘Allahu Akbar’ and continuously fired shots into the air. Tourists who knew nothing about the theater staging were so panicked that the police had to intervene to stop the staging and reassure everyone.
