Cancel Culture is one of the fruits excogitated by globalism, closely related to LTGB, genderism and Woke. Cancel Culture has been specially designed as a weapon of attack in the educational and university sphere, without leaving in peace any institution that smells of traditional values. On 16.8.2022 appeared in the Neue Z. Zeitung in Zuerich an extensive article about Ralf Höcker, a German media lawyer in Cologne. Against media attacks he has defended Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, weather expert Jörg Kachelmann, model Heidi Klum, the AfD and other German parties. He is the most feared and respected media lawyer in Germany. He mainly represents professors against aggressive groups of students who want to force them to resign from their professorships. As is well known, these attacks started in the USA and soon spread to other countries, presumably following a pre-established plan.

Defensive Strategy
Hoecker recommends avoiding panic and the resulting media resonance, which is precisely what Cancel Culture seeks to provoke. He recommends calmly weathering the storm until such time when the adversary can’t think of anything new to say. The worst thing is to show weakness and enter the game prepared by the Cancel Culture group.
To quote Hoecker: “For example, my law firm is defending the case of Paul Cullen, who is an associate professor at the University of Münster. Cullen is an Irish Catholic physician who lectures on diabetes and blood lipids. He is also president of “Doctors for Life” and thus speaks out against abortion. For this reason, the General Students’ Committee (Asta) and some critical medical students wanted to force him out of office. ”
Hoecker speaks openly with the attackers who speak out publicly about the case. In this way he livens up the atmosphere and succeeds in de-dramatizing the matter. In this case he proposed to the students of the medical school, in an open letter, to put to a vote whether Prof. Cullen should or should not continue teaching. And as expected, the students refused to go to the vote and Cullen continues to teach. The aggressors are always a few, but they count on the support of some instance in which they have placed their people.
Situation in Universities and Associations
The sad reality is that in the universities and associations there is fear of Cancel Culture activists, because they think that if we do not distance ourselves from the attacked person we will become the next targets of attack. That is why most of the Universities and associations allow themselves to be manipulated by the naked fear of the activists of Cancel C. Unfortunately, this sad attitude is repeated in the other countries, and reminds of the guilty silences of the Germans when they clearly saw the evils that Nazism was going to bring in a soon future.
The counterattack even through the courts
To quote Hoecker’s words: “We are taking action against the vilest slander and against anyone who spreads false or insulting information about Marie-Luise Vollbrecht (professor). We are taking action against Humboldt University itself, which has claimed that Vollbrecht violates the values of the university. We want to get this quote out of the world so that it does not rub off on our client for the rest of her life. Employers have a duty of care to their employees. The university has breached this and must reinstate its duty to defend its faculty.
You have been known to threaten and intimidate your opponent even before using legal remedies. in this case as well?
Of course I make threats. You have to threaten negative consequences to stop illegal attacks on a client.
Isn’t that also a form of cancellation?
Yes, but it is the cancellation of unlawful statements and not of persons. Some statements are permissible and useful in public discourse, others are not. False allegations do not fall within the scope of free speech.

Conclusions
The aggressive groups initially mentioned are rehashes of Marxism. They are usually people of low moral and professional profile, who have made agitation their profession, because the hidden organization that supports them pays them all expenses and good money to live in academic idleness. When Cancel Culture attacks, you have to put up with it and then stand up to it, taking a lawyer and going to court if necessary. The Constitution and the Laws are usually better than you think, especially condemning the crime of defamation and denigration of good name.
